Plein Air Painters of America Week at the Booth Art Academy

Join us at the Booth Art Academy where artists will have the unique opportunity to study with Plein Air Painters of America master instructors Chris Morel, Spike Ress, Roger Dale Brown, and Phil Starke!

Cost: $850 per student for Booth Museum Members and $950 per student for not-yet-members. Students will receive four days of instruction, one full day of artist lectures, and Booth Museum admission for the week. A ‘lecture only’ option is available for $150.

Format: PAPA instructors will work in teams of two (Chris Morel & Spike Ress and Roger Dale Brown & Phil Starke). Students will participate in 2 two-day workshops, first with one team of instructors and then with the other team of instructors. This will allow students to receive instruction from all four PAPA instructors. The week will kick-off on Monday with a full day of artist lectures by the PAPA instructors.

Painting Locations: All of the workshops will be outdoors in and around Cartersville, GA. In the event of inclement weather, workshops will be moved indoors to the Booth Art Academy.

Registration: A $500 deposit will be required to register.

Final balance payments can be made by calling Kent Mullinax at 770.387.1553 no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event. Registration fees are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the start of the event.

For cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of the event, refunds will only be given if there is a waiting list with a student who agrees to take your place. Students will be responsible for their accommodations, transportation, meals, and supplies.
